One of the joys of my job is getting to see and hear some incredible emerging artists and luckily at times be a part of their journey. Interviewing live both out and about with the The Uk Americana Bar, in the studio Wandsworth Radio, previewing them on my #NewMusicFriday show at Radio FM1FM and at various Live Sessions throughout London. I love my job.

It’s been a while since my last selection of book reviews, life really can run away with you sometimes and finding time to just sit there and read can feel too indulgent or not a priority. But reading can take you on a journey that you sometimes need to get you through, give you escape or just make you giggle.

This is such an excellent initiative, I was overwhelmed not only by the support the local community has shown for such a worthy cause, but the detail the organisers have gone into to create something wonderful on Christmas Day for people that get regularly forgotten.

Yes I know it’s another reason to need to pay more than the average Dairy Milk standard countdown, but oh they are so worth it. Anyway, chocolate everyday is bad for you.
